There is only one word to describe Melinda Watts voice, music, message and the overall composition of her album: DOPE!

I have never heard of this woman and really have no idea where she came from, but my God am I happy that I was visiting AOL.com. Her album is uplifting and upbeat. Far too often singers aren't able to sing about Christ and make your head do the "hip-hop node." I claim Jesus as my Lord and Savior yearsssss ago, and I am always rocking to Gospel and inspirational music, but this woman just hit a chord in my soul. I recommend you pick her CD because her album is a "turnin' me on" joint that hits you track after track!

FYI, according to AOL.com, Watts is the winner of the third season of the 'Gospel Dreams' reality show and this is her debut album. Here's the link to her album http://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds/#/6

Falling For Spain

C808 doesn't believe in looking like everyone, so instead of looking to the department stores for trends. Look to the international runways. While riding the train, I was hit by a tan, long haired beauty in a stunning swimming suit. Yes, I know the train is the wrong place for a woman to be in a swimming suit. But there she was. Thick and curvy women who haven't seen a two piece in a decade could barely look at her on the SCREEN.

That's right, the Path system upgraded its transportation, giving me the opportunity to catch fashion trends. :o). Anywho, the model was wearing a sexy swimsuit from Brazilian designer Rosa Cha. The designer's new Soho outpost is designed to making bathing suit shopping, gasp, enjoyable, according Timeout.com. (Of all the place to get fashion news from. Sorry.) Her one pieces go for around $225 or an asymmetrical beach cover up that doubles as a chic cocktail dress can hit your pockets for about $290.

Meanwhile, the 2010 swimwear fashion shows are well under way. Check out a few looks that may turn a few heads next summer.

I have been on vacation and just wanted to hit you guys with a few items. Sorry for the low number of posts.
So here's the deal, Jay-Z recently proclaimed that he might wear all black for the remainder of the year as ring-tone rap is depressing. Well he has already started rocking the depressed look, but the good thing is that all black is a heavy trend right now and heading into the Fall season.

Ladies, pick up all black accessories and work it with a classic look. I recently bought a bunch of black pearls and I intend to layer it like Ms. Riri, who is pictured below. But not in a over dramatic way as she did. To my surprise, I saw Tyra Banks rocking a black metallic woven, rope chain on her show. It was to LIVE for!

The latest chatter is that Janet contacted the clothing label to design outfits for the entire family as a tribute to her brother. *Nice way to show fashion solidarity*

If you remembered a while back, I dogged Kanye West for sporting the all denim trend.... Well, I can admit that I was wrong. Mr. West was and is a head of the curve. The lastest trend toward the tale end of the summer is denim dresses. Estelle and a few other hollywood starlets have been seen rocking the look.

But little did we know Ms.B was stunting her behind off the entire video. Mrs. Hova is rocking diamond-encrusted nail, rings worth $4,500 each. Can you say Dahyummmm?
